In a word - WOW - most effectively unifies mostly everything that has happened since my last Blog Post, and alas, I write to you now from the greatest city in the world, New York. I have always seen myself as a New Yorker. The time never seemed right. Though the move was a long time coming (years in fact), within only 3 week's time, I made an instinctive promise to myself, left a six year career at Disney, uprooted myself from friends, family, life and culture, shipped four 50+ lb boxes cross country, and sold my car within 19 hours of a one-way flight - all for the sake of waking from a dream and deciding to finally live this daily thing we often call, life. I think it's fitting for the inaugural Blog post to be titled "There's Something About Getting Back Up." I've always been one to advocate the movements of "never give up, never surrender;" of "following your dream(s);" of the cliche ideas of going after the things that bring you to life. It's what empowers me to keep wanting more out of my photography - to keep chasing after this trade which has become my life and passion. I want this photography pipe-dream of mine to be more than just about Portraits, Weddings, Seniors and Special Events.
